Had to ask for one revision because the artist didnt follow instructions the first time. Also, I had looked for a picture of my SIL with no wrinkles, and the original drawing had huge wrinkle lines around her mouth, had to ask to have them removed, they werent in the photo! I still dont think the drawing looks like my SIL, but its close so Ive accepted it. I gave 4 stars because there was quick turnaround time, and for the most part, the drawing is O.K. I havent seen the finished, framed drawing yet, so may like it better then.

GiveAmasterpiece Response: Hi Susan! I took a look at the photo provided for your order. Depending on the brightness of your computer monitor at home, the wrinkles/laugh lines on your SIL may have been harder to see, but they are there. Our artist strives to be flattering toward his subjects, so he wouldn’t add wrinkles if he didn’t see them in the photo reference :) he was able to lighten/remove them, per your revision request, but in the future you can put a note in the Artwork Instructions so that they’re disregarded from the beginning. I think she (and her husband!) look lovely in the final sketch and you’ll be very pleased when you receive the final framed artwork. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. -Hannah

GiveAmasterpiece Response: Hi Sam! I think it’s important to note that every piece of artwork we do is completely custom, and different subjects and sizes for artwork affects the overall artwork composition. No two backgrounds will or can ever be completely identical – the color may need to change slightly to complement a different person’s skin tone, or the lighting/shadowing affected by the number of subjects as well as the lighting shown in the photo reference, etc. The artist worked hard on your order and completed several rounds of revisions in order to meet your requirements without compromising the integrity of his art. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. -Hannah
